Piacé le Radieux, Bézard – Le Corbusier

is a cultural organisation that operates in a rural environment.
Site of reflexion and research concerning ideas of territory and local heritage, our organisation is also concerned with the presentation and promotion of contemporary creation.
Our project has grown from an architectural project developed by Le Corbusier and Norbert Bézard in the 1930s for the village of Piacé, « La Ferme radieuse and le Village coopératif » (the Radiant Farm and the Cooperative Village). Our organization also presents the work of contemporary artists, designers and architects who continue to explore and push the relations between radical ideas and rural life.
